Pool opens at 11:00 am and Clubhouse opens at 11:30 am
Table side food and beverage service indoors or outdoors from 11:30 am to 8:30 pm.
Bar seating is not available. Online reservations are not available.
Additional requirements and guidelines for pool use:
- Members must bring two (2) towels per person to cover their entire lounge chair.
- At this time, no guests will be permitted. Only the member and those on their membership account will have access.
- Members must always practice social distancing.
- Members must identify themselves and register at the host station prior to accessing the pool.
- Food and beverage pool side service is available.

In an effort to adhere to all federal, state, and local guidelines concerning the reopening of businesses during the ongoing pandemic, the following adjustments have been made to our normal sailing operations and will be in effect until further notice.
General Information
We will be requiring protective face coverings to be worn by all individuals while on property, including parking lot, breezeways, classrooms, and docks. Thank you for your cooperation and we look forward to seeing everyone out on the water soon!
Community Free Sailing Programs
- Members must check-out/in their equipment using the iPad system
Twilight Reservations
- Reservations for J70’s and Sonars will be made only through email (sailingcenter@spyc.org) and will be confirmed by email
- Names, Addresses and Phone Numbers of all crew must be declared at time of reservation
- Reservations will be accepted beginning the Monday of each race week and will be accepted through 5pm Thursday
- There will be no access golf cart access.
- Parking during Twilight will only be available for SPYC/SPSC members. Parking will not be available for guests
- Members/guests must check in with a staff member at the front gate upon arrival
- The sailing center will be available for active launching/hauling of Twilight vessels only. Pre/post-race social gatherings are strictly prohibited while on property.
Summer Camp
- Summer Camps will be available.
- Parents will be asked to pick up and drop off their students off on the north side of the building
- Parents will not be permitted to remain onsite for the duration of their child’s camp
- Friday graduation ceremonies will be for students only. (Photos from the event will be available on our Facebook page following the event)
- Classes space will be limited
- Students will be divided into smaller groups, utilizing different parts of the facility and docks
- Board Sports and Keelboat classes are cancelled for the 2020 summer season
- Students are strongly encouraged to bring their own life jackets, if available
- Student’s entering the building will be required to submit to a daily temperature check
- Additional waivers will be required to be completed prior to the first day of camp
- Some of our classes require sailors to sail in a boat with another student; while we will try to keep daily pairings the same, we cannot guarantee that your student will sail with the same student daily
